This past Wednesday the SF GATE reported the Berkley city council voted, unanimously, to let all unpaid interns report directly to the UN on how, or whether, Berkley complies with treaties on civil liberties, racial discrimination and torture.
This is absolutely shocking to me that a city feel that they should be reporting to an international organization like the UN.
Supposedly, the city council had a spirited debate. Of course, spirited debates usually end with unanimous agreement. Right.
I am inclined to think this was a love fest of the UN mischaracterized as “debate”. I imagine the variety of affectionate statements describing the wonders that world government would provide, if not so frightening, may have set new boundaries of adult adulation in public.
City councilman, Max Anderson shares his view that “This is extremely important”. Max, I do agree this is very important. I am sure my thoughts of the importance are very different from statist tenets of your importance.
Max continued, “This is the way Berkley should be talking. This should be an inspiration to other communities.”
Inspiration?! Let’s put that thought on hold for a moment.
Another rational view from council member Kriss Worthington describes this civic malpractice as a creative and important way Berkley can support the values put forth in the UN treaties. “In our humble way, we can submit our own record”, he said. “I think this is a wonderful thing for us to do.”
Inspiration, wonderful, important, and creative is some of the words used to describe an alliance between this council and the UN.
There is one of two truths form here; one, they have read UN treaties, two, they have not read the treaties. I wonder just how much of the UN’s plans/objectives they have read?
If they read them I wonder if it’s the population control of millions of abortions the UN funds each year that is wonderful. Creative is one description for the covert and forced sterilization of women. Perhaps they think it is important to put all vitamins and supplements under the control of the FDA so we could not access these important items for our health without a prescription. I know it is the green solution. The Bio-diver sty study of ‘96 was very inspirational as far as planning to force the US population to vacate rural America so it can be re naturalized while all people will move into mega-cities.
Or perhaps they didn’t read these treaties and documents from the UN. Then this is just a typical blind crush of state control.
State control? The more the better for these folks.
I suspect that no one on this city council has ever witnessed a government big and intrusive enough for their ideas. No sir jack. If Kriss and Max could control everyone’s life the world would be grand. These are the people perfectly qualified to show us just how we should life right down to the last detail.
They have dream that surely is a free human’s nightmare.
