RE: Another Staged Arrest

As reported on this blog Thursday my stated opinion was the recent arrest of an alleged terror plot in NYC was not a legitimate threat. It seems my opinion in the original post is now developing into fact.

I started the Thursday post quoting Mayor Michael Bloomberg announcement of the arrest. As he made the announcement he was flanked by 100 homeland security and counter terrorism agents of various agencies that all had a hand in the investigation. This photo op is significant to the real operation being conducted by these state agencies and I will discuss further. Let’s review further the story and the four characters that were arrested.

The Times Online reports that “prosecutors allege that James Cromitie, a 44-year-old ex-convict who converted to Islam in prison, was the ringleader of a plot to bomb synagogues because, in his tape-recorded words, “I hate those f****** Jewish bastards”.
“Cromitie, from Newburgh, 60 miles north of Manhattan, was said to have recruited three other Muslim converts – David Williams, 28, and Onta Williams (no relation), 32, both former Baptist American ex-convicts; and Laguerre Payen, 27, a Haitian former Catholic and paranoid schizophrenic.”

The question that must be answered is when Cromitie supposedly recruited these three.
Was it before or after the FBI informant hooked Cromitie by convincing him that he, the FBI informant (CW), was a member of a terrorist organization in Pakistan called “Jaish-e-Mohammed”.

If Cromitie was recruiting people prior to meeting the (CW) then we have someone who was willing to plan and act regardless of FBI involvement. However, if all planning and subsequent action followed the(CW)instigation than what we have is truly what the Times Online headline stated “FBI lured dimwits into terror plot.”

The Times story includes a contrarian perspective.

“This whole operation was a foolish waste of time and money,” claimed Terence Kindlon, a defense lawyer who represented the last terror suspect to be tried in New York state. “It is almost as if the FBI cooked up the plot and found four idiots to install as defendants.”

I couldn’t agree more Mr. Kindlon.

The Times story continues, “Kindlon’s complaints were echoed by other legal experts who have repeatedly questioned the FBI’s reliance on undercover informants – known as confidential witnesses (CWs) – who lure gullible radicals into far-fetched plots that are then foiled by the agents monitoring them.”

“The last such plot purportedly involved an alleged attempt to blow up a fuel pipeline at John F Kennedy airport in New York in 2007; the defendants are awaiting trial in a case that depends heavily on evidence from an undercover CW.”

Something else that has come to light since Thursday is who the (CW) actually is and possible anterior motives he may have beyond doing the right thing.

“The FBI informant is Shahed Hussain, a former New York state motel owner who became an FBI informant in 2002 to avoid deportation to Pakistan after being arrested on fraud charges.”

So the FBI has fraud charges, and even more threatening is deportation hanging over Hussain. I wonder what this man would be willing to do to ensure he is not deported. Although I lack ESP or any other paranormal type sixth sense I feel strongly that this man, or any man, placed in this perilous predicament would do whatever his federal handlers asked of him.

This is why the timing of when Comitie started recruiting people is so critical to this story.

In the FBI compliant it is clear that the (CW) recruited Cromitie. Hussain appears to have met Cromitie at a Newburgh mosque where the plot to bomb Jewish targets was hatched. What is not clear is when Cromitie started to recruit his co defendants.

The FBI was able to monitor every move made by Cromitie and the others with (CW) assistance. Hussain also provided the group with bogus C4 explosive and a fake Stinger missile and launcher supplied by the FBI. When the conspirators planted their dud bombs outside two Jewish targets on Wednesday night, the FBI was watching. The area was smothered with heavily armed Swat teams, the would-be bombers’ exit was blocked and agents hauled them away in handcuffs.

“Did they really need all those men in ninja suits with M16 rifles to arrest four idiots?” wondered Kindlon, a former marine sergeant whose main concern is that real terrorists may be plotting undisturbed while domestic US agencies focus on fantasists. “Somewhere, someone in Al-Qaeda must be laughing.”

Yes Mr. Kindlon they really did need all these men in paramilitary gear sporting M16s. For the same reason that the mayor required 100 armed state agents in the photo op of his “announcement” of the arrest. This bit of Global War on Terrorism theatre is the whole point.

The operation that all these agencies cooperated in executing isn’t stopping terrorism; it is convincing the American sheeple to fear enemies from which only dear leaders of the state can protect us.

This operation should have been called PATPATS. This quasi acronym stands for Patriot act justification Patsys arrest, PATPATS.

PATPATS objective: Find four angry morons that can be lead by the nose all the way to a grand public arrest in order to provide the necessary validation to the Global War of Terror.

My good citizens, please remain steadfast in your faith and love of liberty. This latest plot is an obvious propaganda ploy. Demand that we stop the assault upon our constitution here at home.
