Another Staged Arrest – The Final Chapter

This is the last follow up I will post on this topic because we can now answer the critical question raised in last post on May 24th. You can review the original story here and review below my first two posts on May 21st and May 24th.

The Village Voice has done a decent follow-up on the FBI’s confidential witness (CW).

In my last post the critical question was when did the CW start recruiting these men? Also, who was the leader, these four two bit criminals or the CW?

First, this is not the first set up from this CW, Shahed Hussai code named Malik. Since he has gone to work for the feds in the hopes of not being deported for his criminal conviction this is his second plot uncovered.

Quoting from the Voice article linked above, “In both cases, Malik did not stumble upon active terror cells plotting to bring destruction on American soil. Instead, in both Newburgh and Albany, he needed long periods of time to recruit his Muslim contacts, spin elaborate tales about his terror contacts, and develop solid plans of action, all the while providing the defendants with large amounts of resources and cash incentives.”

Is this what the FBI has become? Just high paid entrapment coordinators? Use one criminal to create a crime and lure other simpletons into the trap with easy money? You still have doubts?

Back to the Voice article, “As he had done in Albany, Malik showed up in Newburgh, went to a local mosque, and started looking for recruits.
He found them in four convicted felons with dozens of arrests between them. He initiated the conversations, introduced the idea of a terror plot, and delivered the money, equipment, and resources to back it up. He quickly became known as the guy with ready cash who was interested in the lives of others and was quick to provide aid and comfort.
Malik even offered to pay medical bills when he found out that one of his targets, David Williams, had a brother fighting liver cancer.”
It goes on, “Williams's mother, Elizabeth McWilliams, tells the Voice that Malik approached her son with an offer of monetary assistance for her ailing younger son, Lord McWilliams, 20.
"He told my son [David] that he was going to help with the bills," she says. "He only met him [Malik] in March. My son came to me and said, 'Mom, don't worry about Lord. I met this Muslim brother who says he's going to help us.' "
Her younger son had signed up for the U.S. Navy and was preparing to ship off to boot camp when he was diagnosed with the disease. He was hospitalized for three months and had his spleen removed. Malik not only offered to help with her son's bills, McWilliams says, but also talked about sending him to Universal Studios, the Florida amusement park, when he was well enough to travel.
McWilliams says that Malik was supposed to hand over the cash on the very day that the police made the arrests.”

Whatever these men were, it was not an active terror cell. This man clearly gained trust with money and promises and pulled them in for the Feds. This is not justice.

As a new blogger one of my first posts went out on a limb the day of the original Newburgh arrest and called this for the sham it turned out to be. If I could spot that easily I am hopeful that others are also not fooled by this affront to the principles of freedom.

This is another pathetic marketing attempt for the farce known as “Obama’s Global War on Terror”. It used to be Bush’s however; Obama has gladly picked up the torch and carried it forward. I am sure gwb is as proud of Obama as bill kristol and other neo-con war party cheerleaders have stated they are of his Change.
